About Me

I am a co-founder and the president of Monticello College.

I co-authored A Thomas Jefferson Education for Teen  and I have more than 25 years of experience in teaching and administering entrepreneurial higher-education organizations.

I hold a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.A. in Education, and a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law.

I live in Monticello, Utah with my wife Julia.  I love hiking and the great outdoors.  My favorite toy is a backhoe.

I am passionate about liberty, liberal arts education, and the Georgic  practices of permaculture, biodynamics, earth block construction, and pretty much anything positive regarding 19th century living. Contact me by clicking Monticello College.
